Today I’m going to tell you how to remove the shortcut virus from your computer.
This is how all begins.
A couple of weeks ago, one of my friends gave me a pen drive that has some music I asked. So I plugged it into my computer and copied what I want. Then I turned off my pc.
At the evening, I turned my pc to play a game. And I saw little weird shortcuts inside every single folder. I deleted them one by one. But nothing happened. After I restarted my pc, shortcuts are appeared again. So, I scanned my whole pc with Avira Internet security 2014.what would you think? It said me that my pc has 0 threats. I completely disappointed with avira.i uninstalled it.
After that, I installed Kaspersky internet Security 2014.and it showed me the same results.
So...I ran out of choices.
Couple of days later, I found a little software called “Usbfix” from the internet. Then I Installed it. and Completed a full scan of my pc. After a couple of minutes, it deleted all of damn shortcuts and made my computer free of viruses.
